# Customers

> Everyone who wrote, with their visits, value, tags and notes.

**Customers** is the list of everyone who wrote to the business, with what they told the assistant, their visits, how much they've spent and when they last wrote.

## What you can do

* **Search and filter by tag (2)**, for example *VIP*, *Regular* or *Colour*. Tags are yours to make up.
* **Open a customer** to see their conversations, bookings, packages and gift cards, orders and notes.
* **Add important dates** (birthdays, anniversaries, passport expiry, trips, payments) on the customer's card. The [morning brief](/conversations-and-customers/morning-brief) brings them up on the day with a message ready to send.
* **Export CSV (1)** for a mailing tool or the client's own records.
* Badges show packages with visits left, gift card balances and friends they invited.

## Ideas for tags

| Tag | Use it for |
| - | - |
| VIP | Big spenders: first to hear about free slots |
| Regular | Comes every few weeks |
| Colour, Nails | What they usually book |
| Wholesale | Business customers of a shop |

  Filter by a tag, then **Export CSV** to send a newsletter to just that group from your email tool. For messages in the chat, use a [broadcast](/grow-sales/broadcasts).
