Unhappy customers are flagged for a personal reply. Comment moderation keeps the comments under the business's posts clean. Bad comments are **hidden**, not deleted, so they can be shown again if it was a mistake. Comment moderation: an unhappy customer to answer (1) and a hidden comment you can show again (2) ## What it hides | Setting | Examples | | - | - | | Spam and scams | "Check my profile", followers for sale, crypto, fake prizes | | Comments with links | Links to other sites are almost always spam | | Insults and swearing | Abuse aimed at the business or other customers | | Blocked words and phrases | A competitor's name, words the client never wants to see | ## Unhappy customers (1) Complaints are **not** hidden and get **no automatic reply**. They're flagged **To answer**, and your team gets an alert to reply in person. Mark them **Answered** when done. ## Set it up Open **Comment moderation**, switch it on, and choose what to hide. The counters show how many comments were hidden and how many unhappy customers were flagged in the last 30 days. Check **Hidden** now and then for the first week. If something was hidden by mistake, click **Show it** (2). A quick, kind public reply to an unhappy comment ("We're sorry, we've sent you a message") shows other customers the business cares.
