# Waiting list, reminders and extras

> The extras that fill the calendar: a waiting list, reminders, extras and the next visit.

## Waiting list

When nothing is free, the assistant offers to write as soon as a place opens. When a time is freed (a cancellation, an unconfirmed appointment given back), people on the list are offered it automatically, oldest first. The list is on the **Bookings** page.

## Reminders

The assistant reminds people before their appointment, for example 24 hours before. You can write your own text; `{time}` becomes the appointment time. Instagram only allows this within 24 hours of the person's last message, so very early reminders won't always reach them in the chat.

## Extras when booking

After someone books, the assistant can offer one extra: "Add a nourishing hair mask (+10 €)?" If they say yes, it's added to the appointment and its value.

## Offering the next visit

Some weeks after a visit (set per service on **Services & team**), the assistant offers the next one. One tap starts the booking with the same service, and the same person if they had one.

  * Massage: hot stones, an extra 15 minutes
  * Café reservations: a cake for a birthday, a bottle of wine
